STEVEN DRAYTON

Born on January 9th, 1960, in New York City, Steven Drayton grew up in a family of five siblings with a profound appreciation for the arts. From first grade, where he showcased his vocal talent in the school choir, Steven harbored a deep-seated desire to immerse himself in the realm of entertainment. His brother, William Drayton, renowned as Flavor Flav from Public Enemy, forged a successful path in the music industry.

During his high school years, Steven joined forces with a local band called Liquid Pleasure, where he not only graced the stage with his performances but also honed his skills in songwriting and music production. In the mid-80s, his solo endeavor “Stop Playing With My Love” soared to the #2 spot on the English billboard charts, solidifying his presence in the music scene. 

In early 1994, Steven wrote and produced an Indie song entitled, “You’re On My Mind”.

That same year, Steven embarked on a new venture into television production with his groundbreaking variety talent show, “Make It Happen,” which captivated audiences for two riveting years. The show’s concept, reminiscent of the widely acclaimed “America’s Got Talent,” garnered widespread acclaim and solidified Steven’s reputation as a visionary producer.

In 2010, Steven marked his directorial debut with the compelling drama “Married Men and Single Women,” a cinematic masterpiece that transcended boundaries, achieving global distribution and streaming on revered platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Currently, Steven is immersed in the production of his latest cinematic endeavor, “Family Court,” poised to captivate audiences with its poignant narrative and compelling storytelling.
